Connecting outputs to the motor control unit

OUT1 and OUT2 have three terminals.

The NC terminals of the OUT outputs have a closed contact to COM at rest, while the NO terminals have an open contact (break) to COM at rest.

Switch S2

1. TWO OUTPUT mode (switch S2 in "ON" position)

If the motor controller has two separate control inputs for opening and closing, set switch S2 to the upper "ON" position.
In this control mode, output OUT1 provides the control pulse for opening and OUT2 for closing.

2. ONE OUTPUT mode (switch S2 in "OFF" position)

If the motor controller has only one control input, set switch S2 to the lower "OFF" position.
In this control mode, output OUT1 provides the control pulse for both opening and closing, and output OUT2 remains active for each control operation for a duration which can be set in the mobile application. Output OUT2 can be used for motor controllers that require a longer control pulse for opening/closing, but can also be used to control gate lighting.
